Hey there, I am Kashif Aakash, interested in policy discourse and ambitious to be a good writer and researcher.

Muhammad Kashif Aakash holds a Post-Graduate degree in Public Policy with a major in Governance and Public Sector from the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), Islamabad. His expertise are in Qualitative and Quantitative research methods. Non-Parametric technique Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Econometrics model Input-Output Model (I-O). He has diverse experience in field research, writing Policy Briefs, Report Writing and good command of data analysis tools, including STATA, DEAP and Excel and intermediate understandings of R-Studio.

Aakash has founded the Centre for Policy Research (CPR) to deliver research based solutions to the policy issues Pakistan is currently facing.  He is also a Podcaster, and engage a debate on policy issues in his Podcast Policy Talks every weekend (the show is available on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Google Podcast, Pocket Cast, Anchor and more).

Occasionally, Kashif is also writing his policy perspectives on his website and in different Pakistani Newspapers, mainly in Naya Daur, The Friday Times and Daily Times.
