Stop Honour Killing

Honour Killing annihilated many innocent lives and destroyed many happy families.

The world reaches the highest standard of living and we Pakistanis are still busy in killing humans in different ways like terrorism, Honour killing and many more.

We all come under the same umbrella in terrorism a human dies and in Honour killing a human life ravaged to death, in both ways human life is annihilated either we use the first one or we use the second, we are culprits in both.

In the Holy Quran, there is no verse and in Hadiths (Hadees) books there is no single sentence which tells us; “Yes you can kill a human being”. Islam never teaches to kill someone, Islam is a religion of peace, love and happiness. Where killing of an animal is prohibited, which tell us not to harm but teach us to love whether that is Black or white, rich or poor, Muslim or non- Muslim.

We all believe we are true Muslims then how a Muslim can kill another Muslim? We are Muslims limited only to our titles, we are not following Islam which is exemplary the code of life in the Holy book Quran.

Being Muslims and humans yet we are debating either to kill our daughters or to provide our children’s with all those rights which Islam has given to every individual. This debate and confusion can never be ended only we can lose our nearest by following the barbaric rules of our society which mean nothing more than bringing injustice, hate and fear in our society.

The legislation comes but implementation is yet not seen such as society cannot move to the life of prosperity and happiness. Where justice denies never comes peace and where there is no peace there is no happiness. And I think happiness is supreme above all.

“Dignity is not to kill but is to give happiness and basic rights”.
